1980-81 Ed Story has been
an avid Beatles fan,
since that time he has
met, Julian Lennon-1989,
Sir Paul McCartney &
Lady Linda Mc Cartney
1993, Sir George
Martin-1998 & 2002.
Ed has presented his own
Beatles show in some form
or another for the last
sixteen years (since
April 1992) at Melbourne
outer western
suburbs community
radio (3RIM Inc) 97.9 FM
based in Melton (website:
www.979fm.net). Currently
the program is titled
Off The Beatle
Track and is
presented on Saturday
evenings from 8pm to 9
pm. |

He has a vast
collection of Beatles
music and memorabilia
including autographs from
Paul Mc Cartney, George
Harrison, Julian Lennon,
Yoko Ono & Linda Mc
Cartney.

reviews on Beatles &
related CDs for
newsletters and had a
personal letter of his
thoughts on the passing
of Linda and photo with
Linda published in the
June 1998 edition of the
worldwide Beatles
Book fan magazine
which is published in the
UK. Ed has had other
poems and reviews
published in the London
Beatles Fan Club of which
he was a member. |

Melbourne; former Beatles
engineer Richard Lush;
John Lennon impersonator
Marcus Cahill and
Melbourne Beatles tribute
band Rubber

In November 2002, Ed
Story was drawn in the
Herald-Sun competition,
The Ultimate Paul
Mc Cartney
Experience to meet
and greet Paul Mc Cartney
at his concert in Tokyo,
Japan on 11 March 2002.
